Dr McCarthy is a principal dentist at Gordon Dental. In addition to general dentistry he has a particular interest in pediatric, cosmetic and implant dentistry. He believes in personalising treatment plans to address the needs of individual patients over their lifetime and is passionate about making high quality dental care available to all.

Dr McCarthy is also a clinical tutor at the University of Sydney where he teaches general dentistry to the next generation of dentists. He is also a member of the Australian Dental Association.

When not practicing dentistry, Dr McCarthy enjoys scuba diving and bush-walking.
